Answer:
The only permanent hair removal system currently approved by the FDA
is electrolysis. No, it is not painless. They do, however,
have some numbing agents that will remove the discomfort
by 50%.
Laser is still considered temporary, and the q-tip/tweezer
method is an absolute hoax. Not only have I recently read articles
to this effect, I've also been personally duped myself. My advice?
Go for the electrology if you can. If you can't, hang on.
Hopefully in the next few years we'll have a laser hair removal
system that is permanent.
