Question:
I've never shaved before, for fear of the hairs growing back thicker.
Electolysis and laser are too pricy for me. From personal experience,
what have you found to be the best way to remove hair from legs/upper
lip/between the eyebrows without it growing back thicker? Or should I
just resign myself to being hairy?
Answer:
It is a myth that hair grows back "thicker" as result of trying to remove
it with shavers or tweezers.
If hair is shaved it may _appear_ thicker as it grows back because of the
blunt cut ends growing where tapered and perhaps more faded ends (result
of normal wear and tear if uncut) were before. In my experience long-term
tweezing can eventually weaken hair growth maybe, but nothing so dramatic
as to be noticable to any but me.
So use whichever method is most convenient and/or gives the best results
