Question:
I was also wondering, is it possible for men to remove facial hair for a
longer period than shaving provides? I haven't heard of electrolysis for
years but does something similar exist to help keep hair away for longer?
I have blonde hair and and black facial hair. My skin is incredibly white
and almost 'porcelain', I guess you could say I'm lucky...
but as soon as the hair starts to grow to any length, this sensitive skin
turns into a rash covered itch-ville. If I can't grow a beard, I'm damned if
I have to live with shaving - which my skin really cant tolerate too well
and subsequently goes red for 6 hours.
Answer:
Laser hair removal, but it's expensive, and results vary. The darker and
thicker the hair, and the lighter the skin, the better the results. It
takes about three visits, spaced 3 months apart, to get "full" results -
you can keep going after that for diminishing returns.
It hurts like hell on less sensitive parts of the body; I can't even
imagine it on the face. But it sounds like shaving is also painful to you,
so there you go.
