Question:
I realize that the only method for permanent and complete removal of
facial hair is the electrolysis. However, I was thinking of combining
the laser treatment to get the initial start and finish the job with
electrolysis. I was informed that the efficiency of the laser treatment
is around 70% permanent removal depending on the number of white hair
vs. dark hair. How about getting rid of what can be removed with laser
and removing the rest with electrolysis? This could speed up the
time consuming and painful process and be even more money efficient. I
was informed that three laser sessions are typically necessary and they
cost $850.
I would be very interested in hearing about your experience with laser
hair removal, or possible combination with electrolysis.
Answer:
I'm undergoing laser treatment using the LightSheer method. I'm
attempting to get my beard done.
Although it has cleared the dark hairs on my face significantly, it
certainly has cleared all of them. I do get the impression that it may
be a good thing to do before electrolysis, because then you may not
have to have so many hairs zapped.
