Question:
Anybody know where to buy a decent galvanic electro unit for a decent price?
I am not looking for one of those cheap $30 battery operated things. I
need a quality machine. Thanks in advance.
Answer:
-Global Electrolysis Supply is one of the biggest scams in the hair removal
industry. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this disreputable company.
Virtually everything they sell is either a fraud or can be bought for less
elsewhere.
-I don't know what experience you've had with Global but I purchased
one of their VR2 galvanic units a couple of months back and I've been very
happy with it, and with the results. The price was (for me) reasonable and
the service was prompt and courteous. So far I've used the device which is
a needle electrolysis unit for about 20 hours and I'm well pleased with the
results. It came standard with 10 extra needles and a very informative
manual. It has definitely saved me some money and the unit works as
advertised. I don't know what more you can ask of any home device. I
figured that at $50 an hour for a professional clearing my machine more
than paid for itself the first 6 hours of use. Everthing else is gravy and
the area's I've covered so far have had very little regrowth. And, even
though I'm not a professional electrolygist, my results have been quite
acceptable. It takes some getting used to and a steady hand but it isn't
rocket science. However, all things considered that's just one woman's
experience.
