Question:
Does anyone have any experience with the home electrolysis devices that
are sold in drug stores? Are any of them any good? I've seen them for
as little as $50 advertised. Is this too good to be true?
Answer:
-Sorry, Don. You would do better by tweezing,[less chance of skin
damage]. The only thing permanent about these hair removal systems is
the removal of your money.
Don't be cheap with your transition, or else you will be going to
bethanne for your breasts and T.J. for your srs.
If you are having trouble with pain , I can give you some suggestions -It's not as frightening as the stories of Butcher Brown doing SRS on
a kitchen table. He lost his license, did jail time, and I understand
is now practicing in Mexico.
It's certainly no more frightening than self-medication with hormones.
Whatever else you may think about the SOC, it's worth noting that many
of its provisions are to protect transsexuals from unethical service
providers. The SOC is worth a read, just to get this perspective, and
to learn that you really should care about the qualifications of the
people you seek out for professional services. This includes both
professional qualificiations and checking out their ethical standards.
If you care about yourself, you will refuse to be treated with anything
less than respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
It's a very good idea not to be too desparate when planning your
transition. Transition is an excellent opportunity to get your whole
life together. It's also an excellent opportunity to wreck your life.
This aspect is very much under each individual's control, but a person
whose whole life is out of control may not be able to see that.
